YoungBoy Never Broke Again boasts he’s “one of the greatest to ever do it” in his new remix of Jay-Z’s acclaimed 4:44 track “The Story of O.J.”

“The Story of O.J. (Top Version)” flips the script from Hov’s original 2017 track, which speaks to how one’s Blackness, regardless of skin tone, wealth and status, is still targeted in a racist society. YoungBoy raps over the Jay-Z- and No I.D.-produced beat, which samples Nina Simone’s “Four Women” to proclaim, “Rap n—a, trap n—a, lover boy, gang member/ Still n—a, that’s me” in the chorus.

Despite calling out record labels as “new-age slavery” and The Shade Room for posting about him, the 21-year-old Baton Rouge rapper feels unfazed as he counts up his stacks of cash and brags about how he’s worth more than $10 million. He also name-drops Reginae Carter, the 21-year-old daughter of his “My Window” collaborator Lil Wayne, by rapping, “I’m tryna convince Fee to tell Reginae/ How big the sh– gon’ be if we have a baby.”
