300 Entertainment A&R Geoffrey Ogunlesi posted the cover art for Young Thug’s On The Run album on Instagram. He also commented on Thugger being booked for multiple felony drug charges in Georgia.
“New. ON THE RVN. He will be home soon,” Ogunlesi wrote.”
Young Thug has embraced the reality of being a wanted man.
Despite having a warrant issued for his arrest, Thugger is continuing to promote his recently announced album, On The Run. The eccentric rhymer has unveiled a guest list for the project that plays up the concept of his legal woes.
Elton John is billed as the judge, Jaden Smith plays the prosecutor, 6LACK is his co-defendant and T-Shyne takes the role of the district attorney.
According to TMZ, a felony arrest warrant was issued for Thug in DeKalb County, Georgia. A grand jury indicted him on eight felony counts stemming from a 2017 arrest in which he was initially pulled over for tinted windows.
Thug has been charged with possession and intent to distribute methamphetamine, hydrocodone and marijuana. He’s also been charged with possession of amphetamine, Alprazolam, codeine and a firearm.
Young Thug is already prepared to drop his next album. Just a few weeks after releasing the Slime Language compilation with his YSL Records imprint, Thugger announced a new LP on Sunday (September 9).
“‘ON THE RUN,’” he tweeted. “Album in 2 days.”

Thugger’s second tweet indicates he’ll be releasing the album on Tuesday (September 11). It’s also possible he was describing it being recorded in two days since retail releases typically drop on Fridays.
While the ATLien has some new music on the way, he’s also dealing with serious legal woes. Thugger is facing eight felonies charges stemming from a 2017 arrest.
He has reportedly been charged with possession and intent to distribute methamphetamine, hydrocodone and marijuana. He’s also been hit with charges for possession of amphetamine, Alprazolam, codeine and a firearm.
