Yes, Dionne Warwick Is a Nicki Minaj Fan

Dionne Warwick (a.k.a. the Queen of Twitter) has been continuing her viral streak of hilarious content on the social media platform. She’s also no stranger to words of encouragement, often hyping up her fellow successful women in the music industry.

Most recently, a fan asked on Monday (Dec. 28) if Warwick was a member of Nicki Minaj’s fanbase, lovingly called the Barbz. “I keep seeing this. What does this mean?” the iconic 80-year-old singer questioned.

When her followers explained, Warwick followed up with another tweet. “Nicki Minaj has a wonderful career. Yes,” she wrote.

A day later, Warwick still had Minaj on her mind, and tweeted out that she hopes the rapper likes her hair. “It is very different now,” she explained. She then suggested that fans send her their “best pictures of me in a new wig. I’ll pick one.”

To wrap up the night, Warwick chose her favorite fan photo, one of her in a Minaj-inspired pink bob and made it her profile picture.
