YBN Nahmir has allegedly been robbed of his chain while out in Compton.
An Instagram user boasted that had snatched the piece of jewelry from the “Rubbin’ Off the Paint” rapper and flaunted it across social media.
The person posted a picture of them holding the chain along with the caption: “@ybnnahmir I got yo shit yung n-gga tap n.”
In a separate post, the culprit shared a video of Nahmir bragging about how hard it is to get one of the custom chains before the clip turns to the apparently stolen piece of jewelry as the man claims how “easy” it was to steal.
Nahmir previously posted pictures of the custom chain, which has a diamond-encrusted “YBN” pendant.
Judging by the dates on the posts, the 24-year-old only bought the chain earlier this year.

Some fans thought that the chain flaunted as stolen in the video is not the same one YBN Nahmir wears.
“ngl the chain they was holding didn’t look like the one nahmir was holding up [crying face emojis] sumn not adding up maybe im tweakin,” one Instagram user commented.
Others criticized the chain snatchers for publicizing their crime: “Yeah post your robberies on social media, police don’t know what instagram is right?”
It is not known what led to Nahmir allegedly losing possession of the chain or if there was a conflict, though it has been claimed the rapper was jumped at a gas station.
Nahmir has yet to comment on the alleged theft.
The Alabama native has not previously shied away from conflict, having challenged streamer Adin Ross to a boxing match.
“Ain’t you the same n-gga that just paid $2 million for a n-gga to sit next to you,” Nahmir said on social media earlier this year, presumably in response to an offer from Ross.
“Don’t mention me in no bullshit. I don’t give a fuck about no free promo, no dick holding s**t, because I’m not that type of a n-gga. I don’t care. 20 bands? What the fuck is that?”
He then offered to fight the controversial Kick star for $100,000 after claiming Ross originally proposed $20,000 to duke it out. Ross responded on camera, turning down the request and going off on the rapper.
“Nahmir, you’re not worth $100,000. You fell off, you suck at music,” Ross said. “You failed your music career. I’ve got no disrespect to show, but that. Nahmir, you’re nothing. You’re nobody and your career sucks.
“He wanted 100 bands to fight. You are nowhere near 100 bands. And again, Kick paid Carti $2 mill. Hey, at least I got $2 mill to pay. You’re broke, fuck you!”
Nahmir didn’t take kindly to Ross’ reply, and hopped on Instagram Live with a rebuttal of his own.
“Don’t at me in no fucking shit if you’re talking shit, because you gon’ get smacked in your fucking mouth for it,” he warned. “You can hire all the security that you want to. It’s not going to work like that.
“Don’t disrespect my name and act like, ‘No disrespect, no disrespect!’ Shut the fuck up, n-gga! How the fuck you talk shit then cop a plea in the same fuckin’ video?”
