Wiz Khalifa recently shared how much marijuana he uses each day during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The rapper, best known for his song “Black & Yellow,” responded to a question about his cannabis use.
When asked by Jimmy Kimmel whether it was accurate that he consumes 30 joints per day, Wiz confirmed: “Yeah, yeah, yup. I have things to do. I work out — I got kids, so I do a lot of different things.”
Kimmel remarked that this would equate to over one joint every hour, assuming Wiz is awake all day. Wiz jokingly replied: “Yeah, that’s not bad at all.”
He further commented: “Somebody put it a really good way the other day. You smoke and then you just challenge yourself to do normal things throughout the day … I enjoy it.”
Wiz mentioned that he initially started using weed for artistic inspiration: “It was just for for music purposes, like, being in the studio and hanging around other musicians it was just the thing to do. It kind of became something that, you know, later on in life helped me to get through a lot of things.”
In another interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Wiz revealed that he was the one who first exposed Snoop Dogg’s kids to marijuana during the filming of Mac & Devin Go to High School.
“I did that to Snoop Dogg’s kids. We were shooting High School, the movie, and he was out of the trailer doing his part. And he came back in the trailer and was like, ‘Y’all little motherfuckers is high!’” Wiz said while laughing.
He added: “I thought they had already smoked, though! I’m like, ‘These are Snoop’s kids, of course they smoke!’ They got high with me first. Crazy.”
Mac & Devin Go to High School, released in 2012, starred both Wiz and Snoop. At the time, Snoop Dogg’s sons Cordae and Cordell were roughly 18 and 15 years old.
Wiz Khalifa has openly acknowledged being high in various situations, including attending parent-teacher meetings for his son.
