At last year’s BET Hip Hop Awards, Yung Miami had to hold it down for City Girls all by herself because JT was still serving her prison sentence for fraud. But the full duo made their triumphant debut Tuesday night (Oct. 27) at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards, performing “Kitty Talk” (the edited version of their single “P—y Talk” with Doja Cat) and “Jobs.”

And what a debut it was: The ladies appeared in leopard-print catsuits and lace-up black heeled booties flanked by an army of feline backup dancers to drive home the song’s “Kitty Talk” chorus. They finished the song barefoot in a pool of water for some splish-splashing choreography in the rainforest.

When the performance transitioned to “Jobs,” the catsuits stayed on, but the jungle background made way for a massive screen that displayed the song’s lyrics, including the unforgettable hook “I don’t work jobs, bi—, I am a job.” And the screen displayed one final message in all-caps when the song ended: “VOTE.”

Even though City Girls had just the second performance of the broadcast, the voting message had already been driven home by the show’s hosts and the freestyle raps so far. The U.S. presidential election is exactly a week away, on Nov. 3, and voting is already underway across the country.

The 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards have many more performances and awards to come, so follow along with the night’s big winners and stick with Billboard.com for more coverage. Watch City Girls’ full performance below:
