Freddie Gibbs showed up to his concert in Buffalo, New York with a swollen eye after he was allegedly jumped and robbed by associates of his former collaborator Benny The Butcher at a local restaurant. Now, TMZ has obtained footage of the brawl, which took place at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.

In the clip, several men jump on top of Gangsta Gibbs (wearing a green shirt) before he’s tossed around like a rag doll. Gibbs eventually pops back up in attempt to ward off his attackers, but they keep coming. Eventually, the crowd disperses as a woman yells at them to stop.

Rumors of a fight started making the rounds on Twitter after a purported fan claimed to have witnessed the entire thing. However, they refused to release the video unless DJ Akademiks (Gibbs’ longtime adversary) personally reached out to him.

“I just saw Freddie Gibbs get beat up and his chain took while I was eating in buffalo Ny @FreddieGibbs @Akademiks @WORLDSTAR #explore #WSHH,” he tweeted. “Chain off video. Freddie Gibbs was running in his security didn’t help.”

Gibbs allegedly addressed the brawl in a text message leaked online that read, “20 n-ggaz deep this all they did, couldn’t even take my shit. Tell them n-ggaz come harder next time,” although it hasn’t been confirmed if they were actually from the Grammy Award-nominated rapper.

Benny The Butcher and Gibbs have been beefing since March, but Benny admitted he’s not really sure why in a recent interview with Drink Champs.

“It really ain’t nothin’, you know… I don’t get to, like, into, like, rap relationships,” he said. “A lot of times it don’t be real, you feel what I’m sayin’? So it’s like, I guess that n-gga put a tweet up or some weird shit and I don’t know why he did that shit.” When N.O.R.E. replied he thought they were friends, Benny concurred, “That’s what I thought.”
