Turk has hit back at B.G. after his former Hot Boys groupmate dissed him amid Cash Money’s reunion at Essence Festival.
Birdman, Mannie Fresh, Juvenile and B.G. shared the stage in their hometown of New Orleans on Friday (July 5) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic label.
Fans hoping for a full Hot Boys reunion were left disappointed, though, as neither Turk nor Lil Wayne came out during the performance. (Wayne delivered a solo set after Birdman and co. had finished performing.)
That night, B.G. took aim at Turk on Instagram Live and alluded to him being banned from the performance for an unspecified transgression.
“It’s only one n-gga ain’t in this bitch, ya heard me? He brought that on hisself, ya heard me? N-gga did a bunch of ho shit and can’t take it back. He gotta fault his self for not being here,” he said.
“I know there’s gonna be a lot of people that’s like, ‘Oh, well, such and such, whoop de whoop.’ The n-gga know what he did last summer. And I’ma just leave it like that.”
Speaking on his own social media page following the show, Turk responded to B.G. and threw a spanner in the works of a potential Hot Boys reunion album and tour.
“You n-ggas want that shit to come together ’cause you n-ggas fucked up outchea. I ain’t fucked up outchea. I’m blessed and highly favored by God. Y’all got me fucked up,” he said. “I’ll say fuck a Hot Boys tour, n-gga.
“Disrespect won’t be tolerated, n-gga. I don’t give a fuck who a n-gga is. Ain’t no Big I’s or Lil U’s over me, mane. B.G. better sit his muthafucking ass down somewhere, man. That n-gga don’t run shit round here — not with me.
“He might run that shit with you n-ggas. He don’t run that shit with me. He ain’t doing nothing but running his muthafucking mouth.”
Turk then slandered B.G.’s musical output, saying: “Them wack ass raps, man. That shit wack, n-gga. All you n-ggas dick riding ’round here, man. That shit wack.”
He also accused B.G., who previously dissed Lil Wayne on a song following his release from prison, of starting beef for publicity: “That’s why the n-gga gotta play all these muthafucking games. He tryna get some time of muthafucking [clout].”

Turk’s issues with his former labelmates are no secret. Prior to Essence Festival, the New Orleans rapper expressed an eagerness to be a part of the Cash Money reunion but hinted at running into roadblocks.
“I have fans calling and inquiring […] ‘Are you gonna be at the Essence?’ I don’t even know what to tell them ’cause I don’t know if they’re gonna understand the business side of it,” he said in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) last month.
“But I want them to know that I’m doing everything that’s in my power for them to see me. I don’t want them to think that I’m a no-show if I don’t be there.”
Birdman previously touched on his frosty relationship with his former signee when first teasing a Hot Boys reunion tour last year.
When asked why Turk didn’t get the same “red carpet treatment” as B.G. following his prison release in 2012, the Cash Money mogul said: “To be honest, Turk ain’t have a relationship before he went to jail. I ain’t have a relationship with Turk, not at all.”
He added: “A lot of n-ggas do shit, say shit, and I ain’t forgiven everybody. I’m old school, old law, G code.”
