Tory Lanez has made an effort to win back Iggy Azalea on his latest album Peterson.

Although he is currently serving time for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, Lanez hasn’t let his incarceration stop him from making music or attempting to reignite his past relationship with the Australian rapper.

On the track “9$IDE x Amethyst,” named after Azalea’s real name, Tory devotes much of the song to rapping about the blonde star.

““It be nights I want to talk to Iggy, but she blocked me / Amethyst, if you ever hear this shit, shawty, call me / You know that I’m always makin’ spicy bitches salty / Need to come correct ’cause all that shit I did was faulty / I miss when you wrapped around my body like a tall tee,”” he raps.

He also expresses regret over the end of their romance, admitting: “+”

After a beat change, Lanez continues to express his admiration for Iggy’s “body” and makes it clear he’s open to getting back together once he’s released from prison.

“Amethyst, if you still free, shawty, let me know / Let me pick up where we left off, shawty, I’ll be yours / Amethyst, if you still down, let me know / ‘Cause I got plans of fucking you when I get home,” he sings in a style reminiscent of Chris Brown.

Tory Lanez also touches on his connection with Iggy Azalea on the song “Guide Me Through the Storm,” where he raps: “Guide Me Through the Storm,” rapping: “County jail crying real tears to Iggy Azalea / I know you put up with some shit that just wasn’t familiar / I loved your ear and loved your heart though you wasn’t Amelia / They lying, trying to get me fucked, but I wasn’t Cecilia.”

The two were once rumored to be dating before Lanez’s imprisonment for the controversial shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

During his trial, Azalea wrote a letter to the judge asking for leniency in Lanez’s sentencing.

In the letter, she spoke highly of his behavior around women, saying: “I deeply appreciate the person he is and have never witnessed him [lose] his temper or raise his voice at a woman.”

Iggy also shared that she had hired several of Lanez’s staff members after his conviction: “Since Daystar remains in jail, many of his employees are left without work. I took it upon myself to hire six of his staff members, full time.

“I did this not only because they are great hardworking people, but so that they remain in a position to transition back into running his business when he’s completed his sentence. I’m doing all I can to make sure he’s in a position to come home and get back to work.”
