THE GAME EXPLAINS WHY EMINEM’S NEW RIAA RECORD DOESN’T MAKE HIM A ‘BETTER’ RAPPER

The Game has been on a tear lately, repeatedly explaining why he believes he’s a “better” rapper than Eminem. It all started when he appeared on Drink Champs earlier this month and confidently stated, “Eminem, Eminem is Eminem. I like Eminem, he’s one of the fucking good MCs, great MCs. I used to think Eminem was better than me. He not. He not. He’s not.”

After doubling down on his sentiments last week, The Game returned on Tuesday (March 8) with a flurry of tweets outlining why Eminem’s new Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) record for most certifications still doesn’t make him a superior rapper.

“All this talk I see on the net saying Eminem is better than me because he sold more records is like saying McDonald’s is better than Tam’s burgers, it’s FALSE !!!” he began. “They just put more money in McDonald’s & promoted the shit out the happy meal dangling toys in kids faces.”

He added, “Translation for those of you who don’t know how major record companies do business: it’s a machine designed to work for the artists who PLAY NICE in massa’s house. I was TOO REAL, TOO UNAPOLOGETICALLY BLACK & cut the puppet strings early on in my career n decided to rebel.”

The Game 2.0, who seems more ravenous for rap domination than ever, then suggested Eminem has only been as successful as he is because he’s more or less the chosen one.

“Major labels are known for BUYING ALBUMS & paying off everyone to boost sales of the artists,” he continued. “THEY CHOOSE to shine the light on. If you ain’t dancin’ to massa’s tune, you lose your budget & the machine is taken off your project and put to work on another artist who’s willing to SD [suck dick].”

He added he was “tired of the lies & bullshit propaganda they throw out here for fans to gobble up” and now that he’s “back outside” he says “this entire shit bout to get shook the fuck up!!!!”

The Game then laid how what it takes to be considered a G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) and pointed out Eazy-E, 2Pac and Nipsey Hussle were all killed as soon as they started speaking out about the nefarious aspects of the music industry.

“To successfully become a [goat] approved by both fans & the industry (rap peers, execs etc) you have to do exactly what they want you to do,” he wrote. “Eazy, spoke out about it… he died. 2pac was vocal about everything, he died. Nipsey empowered the community, championed independence, he died.”

As The Game’s rant went on, he made it abundantly clear again just how little he cares about Eminem’s sales. In fact, he doesn’t care about anyone’s — even his.

“Fuck how many records he sold, you sold or I sold,” he said. “That’s just #s on paper n some little awards that ain’t no bigger than my YMCA trophys.”
