LOS ANGELES, CA – Just one day into 2019, Kanye West was back to his Trump-loving, MAGA hat-wearing ways after he reaffirmed his alliance with the current POTUS in a series of tweets.
The D.O.C. evidently took issue with one particular tweet that read, “One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can’t tell me what do because I’m black.”
The West Coast gangsta rap vet replied, “Sure they can lil bro. But just like you without your cape, you can only listen if you choose. If you really fuck wit that guy then cool bro ride or die but these goofy ass analogies are just fkn dumb. Take a leap and really talk to people if you have something to say.”

While it’s clear D.O.C. doesn’t share ‘Ye’s political views, he isn’t completely trashing Kanye for his stance on Trump. When one fan called ‘Ye an “embarrassment to every black artist,” D.O.C. came to his defense but also agreed Kanye wasn’t exactly thinking straight.
“Lol dam bro,” he tweeted. “I wouldn’t go that far. Something is a bit off for sure.”

Kanye has alienated many of his fans since announcing his support of Trump. Last September, ‘Ye made the trek to the White House where he spouted off about a myriad of random topics, including his belief the 13th Amendment — which outlaws slavery — should be abolished.
The meeting ended with an awkward embrace between the two polarizing figures.
