Teyana Taylor is reportedly pushing for the imprisonment of her former husband, Iman Shumpert, after accusing him of leaking private documents regarding their divorce.

According to TMZ, Taylor is claiming that Shumpert disclosed sensitive information about their divorce settlement to the media, leading to unwanted public attention. She argues that their so-called “settlement” is actually a court-ordered judgment, and she already possessed certain assets that she was allowed to retain, such as vehicles and a tour bus.

Furthermore, Taylor asserts that she was granted four properties, while Shumpert was awarded three, including a Miami condo that he had originally given her as a gift.

It is suggested that Shumpert leaked the documents shortly after Taylor posted photos of herself with actor Aaron Pierre. As a result of these leaks, Taylor reportedly faced harassment online due to media coverage about their divorce.

Taylor is now seeking for Shumpert to be held in contempt of court, requesting that the judge sentence him to 20 days in jail and impose maximum fines.

Shumpert has not yet responded to these claims.

Although the specifics of their divorce recently garnered attention, the couple’s split was officially finalized last year. At that time, it was reported that Taylor would retain four marital properties, valued at over $10 million, along with all her jewelry and a collection of vehicles, including a Maybach, a Mercedes Sprinter, a tour bus, and her Bronco truck.

Additionally, she was awarded full ownership of her companies, Taylormade and Auntie’s.

Shumpert, on the other hand, was granted the aforementioned Miami condo and two properties in Georgia, along with his investments. He was also required to make a one-time seven-figure payment to Taylor and pay $8,000 per month in child support. Moreover, he was responsible for covering the entire tuition of their daughters’ private school education.

Taylor had originally filed for divorce in January 2023, months before the couple publicly announced their separation in September. In her divorce filing, the former G.O.O.D. Music artist also sought primary custody of their children and accused Shumpert of treating her “cruelly” and exhibiting “extreme narcissistic behavior” throughout much of their marriage.
