Suge Knight’s son has fired back at Eminem after the rapper’s long-ago diss track, “Smack You,” resurfaced online.

In a new collaboration with the Polish rap group Elita Kaliska, titled “Ocean Krwi,” Suge Jr. directs his anger at “internet gangsters” who “dry snitch” and make threats on the web, all while also advocating for his father’s release from prison.

While the verse doesn’t name a specific target, Suge Jr. made it clear in a statement that this track was a direct response to Eminem’s “Smack You.” He explained, “Eminem claims that the song was created in the mid-2000s. It’s strange that it’s being released now, when my father has no chance to defend himself. It’s also strange that he had many opportunities to tell him all this to his face, but didn’t have the courage,” as reported by NME.

He continued, “An honorable man doesn’t kick the defenseless, so I decided to defend my father’s honor and record my response as part of a song that happened to be about this topic. If Em claims that this song is from two decades ago and declared in it that he will reveal the alleged truth about my father’s connection to the attack on ‘Pac, then where is his truth? Maybe he will finally have the courage to confess it?”

Suge Jr. then discussed the issue of online hate and the false rumors surrounding his father’s alleged involvement in 2Pac’s death. “They were best friends, and although many bad things can be said about my father, he cannot be blamed for ‘Pac’s death.”

Later, Suge Jr. suggested that Diddy might be involved in the killing of 2Pac, saying, “The world will soon learn a lot about this attack — I’m sure Diddy knows a lot about it, and I could even present evidence in this case, but I’ve already talked about ‘Pac once I said it and that’s where I’ll end it. I want to live.”

In the diss track “Smack You,” which was leaked in January, Eminem placed blame on Suge Knight for the deaths of both 2Pac and Biggie, rapping: “I’m holding Suge responsible for the deaths of the two greatest rappers to ever grace the face of this planet.”

He added, “If only the late, great Mr. Christopher Wallace could talk / He could tell you himself / I’m holding Suge responsible for the death of Ja Rule or anyone else down with Tha Row.”
