Snoop Dogg has found himself in hot water for smoking weed around his grandchildren.

The West Coast rap legend posted a clip on Instagram on Wednesday (February 21) of himself in a recording studio surrounded by his granddaughters as he smoked a blunt.

The video was widely condemned in the comments section, with Snoop being criticized for smoking the drug around infant children.

One commenter said: “Nobody and I do mean NOBODY smoking around my babies.”

Another added: “Like Serioisly … Is there a blunt in his hand in front of the grand babies? Come man, damn.”

Someone else commented: “Burning with the kids ????”

The 52-year-old rapper has yet to respond to the backlash.

Fellow cannabis connoisseur Wiz Khalifa recently confessed that his son probably smells like weed.

Talking about attending school meetings stoned, Wiz said: “Hell yeah, I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it. They know what’s up. It’s not like back in the day where you’re considered a bad parent if you smell like weed.

“I’m pretty sure my son smells like weed. Like, I don’t know because I can’t smell it, but I’m pretty sure he smells like pot.”

Snoop Dogg had previously said he was quitting smoking but it turned out to be a publicity stunt for a brand of fire pits he was endorsing.

“Announcement: I’m giving up smoke,” Snoop said in an ad he shared on his Instagram page last year. “I know what you thinking — ‘Snoop, smoking’s kind of your whole thing.’ But I’m done with it. Done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky-icky. I’m going smokeless.”

He captioned the ad: “I’m done with smoke. I’m going smokeless with @solostove.”

Meek Mill also claimed to be following Tha Doggfather’s lead in giving up the drug.

“Ima go to Dubai and completely stop smoking,” he wrote on social media. “ima follow snoop, my doctor said I got a lil bit emphysema in a chest if I don’t stop smoking it cuts my lifeline in half.

“I was addicted to the nicotine and this new weed got too many chemicals and too risky to play with my mental!”
