Snoop Dogg is a legendary artist who has worked hard to achieve his extravagant lifestyle, so it should come as no surprise that getting him on a track is going to cost a pretty penny. On Wednesday (April 20), the rap star appeared on the Full Send Podcast and revealed a guest verse on a song is gonna cost an artist $250,000 for 16 bars, a price that increases if they expect him to pop up in their music video.

“You’ll get about 16 bars,” he said. “And when it’s time to do the video, I need to get another $250,000 up out of you. And you only got an hour so get to filming.”

Uncle Snoop has over 1,000 guest appearances to his name, and he’s worked with everyone from Kid Rock and Kendrick Lamar to Mariah Carey and Jason Derulo. Snoop confirmed during his interview his next link-up will be with the South Korean boy band BTS. Although he was asked to speak on the collab, he wouldn’t give too much away aside from confirming it was indeed happening.

“It’s official like a referee with a whistle,” he said. “I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s [a] vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”

Snoop also broke down his recent purchase of Death Row Records and talked about what he believes happens when we die.
