Snoop Dogg gets extraterrestrially funky on “Big Subwoofer,” the debut single from his new rap supergroup, Mount Westmore. The four-headed hip-hop Avengers features Snoop and fellow West Coast icons Ice Cube, E-40 and Too $hort and in the visual for the track all four blasts off to the furthest reaches of the universe to bring some trunk-rattling beats where no MC has gone before.

“Big subwoofer in the back like wassup/ Blow the windows out the frame if somebody wanna pull up,” booms the song’s hook as the four OG’s fill the cockpit of their space cruiser with intergalactic sticky icky smoke in search of a party on an alien planet called Snoopiter. Surrounded by blue-skinned women grinding in a Star Wars-like cantina, the Cali legends prove that their game cannot be contained to one galaxy.

“Big subwoofer bouncing like a trampoline/ Glass shake when I roll past the scene/ Candy apple paint dripping classic green/ Everybody eating, you can ask the team, fast and mean, speaking bumping, tags is clean,” Snoop raps as he commands the bridge of the ship while Cube drops some signature tough talk about keeping the party going.

The song is the debut single from Snoop Dogg Presents: The Algorithm, the first project under Snoop’s new gig as executive creative consultant for Def Jam Records. The legendary rapper — who is celebrating his 50th birthday on Wednesday (Oct. 20) — has pulled together as-yet-unnamed artists from the label’s past, present on future for The Algorithm, which is slate to drop on Nov. 12.

“There’s so much talent on this record, so many styles of music, it breaks the algorithm,” said Snoop in a statement. “Right now, the algorithm is telling us you have to rap this way, you have to sound this way, but they’re not telling you how it’s supposed to feel. My algorithm is going to give you a feeling, not a sound.” At press time the track list for The Algorithm had not been released.
