Russ has officially entered 2021.
The rapper unveiled his first song of the year on Friday (Jan. 8), a melodic Lil Baby collaboration titled “Ugly.” The accompanying Edgar Esteves-directed video finds the Atlanta natives amid flashing colored lights, living luxuriously in a high-end strip club. “‘Cause I got your b—h now in love with me / And I’m in this b—h now, it’s getting ugly,” Russ proclaims in the hook.
“Ugly” comes following a 2020 that was quite the opposite for Russ, who dropped a string of viral hits, including “Hard for Me” and “Best on Earth,” plus his Shake the Snow Globe album and Chomp EP.
