Actor/MC Page Kennedy has decided to take his grievances with Lord Jamar to wax with “Straight Bars.” The beat is taken from Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle,” which the platinum-selling artist used to fire shots at Pusha T last year.
For nearly two-and-a-half minutes, the Detroit native calls out the Brand Nubian MC for using another man’s name in an attempt to remain relevant, referring to him as a “raisin.”
““I’m a easy money sniper/I’m Kevin Durant/I kill theses [Achilles] niggas in a cypher,” he spits.
Kennedy explained he figured Eminem had other things to do so he decided to give him an assist.
“Since Em was busy doing actual important shit, I decided to take care of the light work,” Kennedy tells HipHopDX. “Detroit versus everybody. Period.”
Kennedy already voiced his thoughts on Lord Jamar during an episode of The Breakdown earlier this month.
Straight Bars III arrives on October 4. Until then, check out “Straight Bars” above and revisit The Breakdown below.
