NEW YORK, NY – Now that Offset’s Father Of 4 album is out in the world, the Migos rap star is doing the press rounds. TMZ caught up with him in New York City where he admitted he wanted Kendrick Lamar on the project but wasn’t able to make it happen.
“I tried to get Kendrick on the record,” he said.
It’s possible Offset’s inability to secure K. Dot on the album could’ve led to its delay. The project was originally supposed to come out last December and when it didn’t drop, fans immediately blamed it on his relationship drama with wife Cardi B.
Offset still had plenty of notable guests on Father Of 4, including Cardi, Travis Scott, J. Cole and 21 Savage.
Speaking of Cardi, Offset added the secret to a celebrity relationship is “real love” before he shut the door singing Mary J. Blige’s 1994 hit, “Real Love.”
