Nicki Minaj, who’s previously had public conflicts with Megan Thee Stallion, Jay-Z, and Roc Nation, reignited tensions on Tuesday (July 8) via Instagram, where she made several pointed posts criticizing Megan, Jay, and others.
This follows a federal judge’s decision on Monday (July 7) to allow a lawsuit involving Megan and Roc Nation to proceed. The case, brought by cameraman Emilio Garcia, alleges that while working on Megan’s European tour, he was compelled to witness her engaging in sexual activity in a vehicle. Judge Gregory H. Woods ruled that the plaintiff had presented adequate details for the case to move forward.
“What was the name of that law again???????? Karma’s Law? Touch not my anointed law? Vengeance is the Lord’s law,” Minaj wrote, alluding to Megan’s lyric from “Hiss.” “We give God the glory & he’s only just begun. Have a blessed day if you can. lol the blogs posting lies, thank you. More money for me. We’re working. Trust.”
On X, Minaj also appeared to comment on the lawsuit’s allegations: “Being a gay man doesn’t give any woman the right to sexually grind on you or have sex in front of you,” she wrote. “I remember seeing someone grinding on their hair stylist & he seemed so uncomfortable.”

At the beginning of 2024, Megan and Minaj exchanged diss tracks — Megan released “Hiss” while Nicki answered with “Big Foot.”
Minaj also set her sights on Jay-Z, sharing a post by 50 Cent about an alleged paternity claim involving Jay. “Oh is this why he was trending the other day? Idk. I hope all is well,” she commented. “To God be the glory.”
She has repeatedly accused Roc Nation of using industry tactics against her since she chose Young Money over Roc.
Recently, she continued to criticize Jay for not selecting Lil Wayne for the Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans earlier this year, choosing Kendrick Lamar instead. She further supported fans who claimed Jay owes her money from a TIDAL-related deal.
According to Minaj, Jay-Z is indebted to her for a sum between $100 and $200 million. She has pledged to share part of that with her fans, the Barbz, to help fund their education, something she’s done before.
The matter is still unfolding, and so far, Megan Thee Stallion, Jay-Z, and Roc Nation have not publicly addressed Minaj’s statements. Billboard has contacted representatives for all parties but has not received a response.
