The entire North American leg of Nicki Minaj and Future’s NICKIHNDRXX Tour has been cancelled. The tour will now start overseas on February 21, 2019 in Munich, Germany.
According to a press release, Nicki has decided to “reevaluate elements of production” and contribute more time to rehearsal “to make certain her fans get the absolute best quality show that they deserve.”
Nicki will be announcing new North American dates in the future. They are expected to kick off in May 2019. Refunds for the previously scheduled North American dates will be available at point of purchase and on-sale details will be announced soon.
The NICKIHNDRXX Tour was originally planned to begin on September 21 in Baltimore, Maryland with Tekashi 6ix9ine as a special guest.
Nicki Minaj has announced Tekashi 6ix9ine is one of three opening acts booked for the NICKIHNDRXX Tour. The self-proclaimed Queen of Rap revealed the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday (July 24).
Minaj and 6ix9ine recently teamed up for his new single “FEFE,” which she pointed out was No. 1 on multiple streaming platforms in the caption.
“@6ix9ine_ is 1 of the 3 artists that @future and I have added to the #NickiHndrxx WORLD TOUR,” she wrote. “Tickets come w|a physical copy of #QUEEN which will be released on August 10th. Tour link in bio. #Fefe #1 on APPLE MUSIC, TIDAL, YOUTUBE, #2 on SPOTIFY, #3 on iTunes.”
