Moneybagg Yo has attracted a global following since shooting to rap stardom in the late 2010s, but his next album is catered to those who have been riding with him since the jump.

On Wednesday (May 1), the Memphis native officially announced his new album, Speak Now, which will arrive on May 24.

In an Instagram post unveiling its cover art, Bagg wrote: “To Every Action There’s A Reaction, Timing Is Everything And Information Is Power Im In Raw Form Aint No Cut On This Shit This For My Day 1 Core Fan Base The Ones Who Was There Since The Beginning !!

He added: “ALBUM : SPEAK NOW DATE : 5.24.24 PRE SAVE LINK IN BIO.”

Further details, including a tracklist and potential guest features, have yet to be revealed.

Speak Now will serve as Moneybagg Yo’s fifth studio album following 2021’s A Gangsta’s Pain, and first full-length release since last year’s Hard To Love mixtape.

Both projects made a splash on the charts, peaking at No. 1 and No. 10 on the Billboard 200, respectively.

While his next album is now set in stone, Moneybagg Yo’s relationship status is not.

Back in March, he and Ari Fletcher left fans confused with conflicting claims about their romance when they both confirmed and denied that their relationship had ended.

Soon after the release of his “Bussin’” video, which featured Fletcher, he posted a photo of her from the shoot and wrote: “I Got Da Utmost respect for u, we be in our own world not da one they live in ! We just be enjoying & having fun with da shit Teamwork make dream work ! So for Anybody got some to say or against it Stfu & keep running us up !!”

However, the reality star later hopped on X (formerly Twitter) and announced: “I’m so fucking single.”

In response to a fan who mentioned the aforementioned track, she snapped: “Fuck that song and that video.”

Things got even more puzzling when the 32-year-old rapper quoted Fletcher’s “so fucking single” tweet with: “[three laughing emojis] never.”

The pair have been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2019. Last year, however, Fletcher surprised many by saying that she had been married for the past two years, without sharing any further details.
