Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. faced-off against each other in the ring Saturday night (Nov. 28) in a highly-anticipated exhibition bout — but it was Snoop Dogg who social media users declared winner the evening.

Born Calvin Broadus Jr., the rapper, actor and entrepreneur gave color commentary for multiple matches, including Jake Paul versus Nate Robinson and the main event, which was the former heavyweight champion Tyson vs icon Jones Jr.

Snoop had fans rolling on social media with his numerous quips during the fights, one of the most popular being when he said of the Tyson-Jones Jr. battle, “This s–t is like two of my uncles fighting at the barbecue.”

And it was not just the jokes, of which there were plenty, but also his genuine reaction to the action, especially the Paul-Robinson undercard which some viewers noted was far more entertaining than the Tyson-Jones Jr. draw.

“Oh, my God, Lord have mercy! Oh, Jesus!” Snoop shouted at one point when Paul knocked Robinson to the ground. He then began singing a spiritual hymn as Robinson stumbled around the ring, trying to regain his composure.

Musicians, Hollywood stars and pro athletes also complimented Snoop on his work, including Lakers superstar LeBron James. “My Unk @SnoopDogg is simply the greatest at whatever he does man!! Swiss Army Knife++++++,” James tweeted.

After the event, Snoop tweeted, “I had fun 2nite yall.”
