Megan Thee Stallion’s “Body” achieves its first No. 1 on a Billboard radio chart as it advances from the runner-up spot on the Rhythmic Airplay chart dated Feb. 13. The track climbs with a 2% boost in plays in the week ending Feb. 7, according to MRC Data.

Beyond its Rhythmic Airplay coronation, “Body” ascends 6-4 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. There, it registered 15.7 million in weekly audience, a 6% improvement from the prior tracking week. The song is the Houston rapper’s sixth consecutive top 10 on the chart, a run that includes “Savage” (three weeks at No. 1), “Girls in the Hood” (No. 5), “WAP” (No. 3), “Don’t Stop” (No. 8) and featured turn on Young Dolph’s “RNB” (No. 8), and underscores Megan Thee Stallion’s status as one of the most in-demand artists on the radio format.
On Rap Airplay, “Body” holds at its current No. 2 peak for a second straight week, though it gained 2% in audience in the tracking week.
Pop airplay, too, is rising for the single. It climbs 25-22 on the Pop Airplay chart, which measures the most played songs at mainstream top 40-oriented stations. In the last tracking week, “Body” surged 16% in plays.
Radio support from the rhythmic, R&B/hip-hop and pop sectors all contribute to “Body” rising 15-14 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart. The lift comes as the single notched 38.1 million in audience impressions in the week, a 4% bump from the prior week.
“Body” appears on Megan Thee Stallion’s debut full-length album, Good News, released last November. The set, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, is at No. 10 on the most recent chart (dated Feb. 13), in its 11th week on the ranking.
