Megan Thee Stallion fired up on Twitter Wednesday night (July 22) after media personality Draya Michele made some insensitive jokes about the “Hot Girl” rapper getting shot last week.

“I predict that they had some sort of Bobby & Whitney love that drove them down this type of road,” Draya said of Meg and Tory Lanez, who reports say shot her though it was never confirmed. “I’m here for it. I like that. I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot too.”

“Dumb b—- that s— ain’t f—ing funny who tf jokes about getting shot by a n—-,” Meg tweeted in response, before adding, “And f— all the hoe a– n—-s making jokes about it too I’ll talk about s— when I get ready.”

In an Instagram note last week, the 25-year-old rapper detailed being shot more than once “as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me.”

She followed up with a Twitter statement, noting that “Black women are so unprotected & we hold so many things in to protect the feelings of others w/o considering our own. It might be funny to y’all on the internet and just another messy topic for you to talk about but this is my real life and I’m real life hurt and traumatized.”

Draya has since apologized for her remarks. “I just want to take a min to address victims of domestic violence and abuse of any kind and just overall humans, I was wrong to insinuate that there is room for violence in loving relationships, or in any relationship for that matter,” she wrote via Instagram Story on Thursday. “I was wrong to try to find humor or make light of the situation, and understand that my joking nature was damaging and hurtful. It was poor judgment and I deeply regret it. This is a sincere apology from me to everyone.”
