Megan Thee Stallion dropped the official dance video version of “Body” on Sunday (Jan. 24), busting out her best moves with her dance crew in a dramatically lit setting.
The clip — directed by “WAP” helmer Colin Tilley with choreography by JaQuel Knight (Beyoncé, Britney Spears) — finds Meg and her six backup dancers dressed in a black crop tops, thongs and fishnets shaking it on a spare stage illuminated by flashing white spotlights.
It’s been a big week for Meg, who also showed up on the remix of Ariana Grande’s “34+35” along with Doja Cat on Jan. 15, and in a previously unreleased audition tape for VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop before she teamed up with the most famous L&HH alum, Cardi B, for “WAP.”
“It’s Megan Thee Stallion, aka Young Tina Snow, aka the H-Town Hottie. I’m from Houston, Texas, and I’m just the best female rapper that’s popping right now,” says Megan in the audition tape released by VH1 this week as part of its #LHHUnlocked series. “And on top of that, I’m a full-time college student, OK.”
