Megan Thee Stallion Digs Into Crates For Freestyle Project With Unreleased Tracks: ‘Something for Thee Hotties’

Christmas came a bit early for Hotties on Thursday (Oct. 21), when Megan Thee Stallion revealed that a new odds and sods collection is coming before the end of the month. In a series of tweets, the rapper pulled back the wrapper on Something for Thee Hotties: From Thee Archives, which will drop on Oct. 29 and feature freestyles “and a few unreleased songs from THEE ARCHIVES.”

The accompanying image was Halloween appropriate, featuring Megan in a barely there red leather devil costume, complete with horns and a tail, as well as the album’s release date seemingly tattooed on her backside. “My gift to my hotties,” she wrote on Instagram. “freestyles y’all been asking for plus a few unreleased songs from my archives to hold ya’ll over for the rest of the year.”

When a Hottie wondered if any of Meg’s pre-fame SoundCloud songs will be on there, the rapper said check, check, responding, “if it’s over an original beat it will be there.” And, in case you were wondering, when another fan wondered if any of the unreleased tracks have features on them, Megan said, “nope it’s all me.”

Before releasing her acclaimed 2020 debut album, Good News, Megan dropped the 2019 mixtape Fever and then the EP Suga. She dropped a pair of freestyles earlier this year, “Outta Town Freestyle” and “Tuned in Freestyle,” and just dropped her collab with Maluma and Rock Mafia, “Crazy Family,” from the Addams Family 2 soundtrack. She’s also featured on DJ Snake’s new all-star track, “SG,” where she appears alongside BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Ozuna.
