Hot Girl Fall can officially commence because Megan Thee Stallion will be the musical guest for the season 46 premiere of Saturday Night Live next weekend (Oct. 3).
Chris Rock will host the first live episode of the NBC sketch comedy series since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The “WAP” rapper previously made her debut a year ago last October when she joined host and musical guest Chance the Rapper to perform his “Handsome” track off his debut album The Big Day. This will mark her first time as the main musical guest on SNL.
“HOTTIES Oct 3 the mf hot girl coach will be on the SEASON PREMIERE of SNL with @chrisrock @nbcsnl,” she wrote on Instagram today (Sept. 24) to announce the news.
Daniel Craig stepped into Studio 8H as the host of the last live episode on March 7. The Weeknd performed as the musical guest with his smash hit “Blinding Lights” and the debut of After Hours highlight “Scared to Live” ahead of the No. 1 album’s release.
See Megan’s announcement below, and tune into the SNL premiere next Saturday, Oct. 3 at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
