Logic is retired from rapping, but that doesn’t mean the No Pressure MC is just resting on his laurels and not hustling.
According to CNET, the rapper bought an extremely rare first-edition Charizard Pokemon card for a reported $220,574.
“When I was a kid I absolutely loved Pokémon but couldn’t afford the cards,” Logic wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday. “Now as an adult who has saved every penny he has made being able to enjoy something that I’ve loved since childhood now as a grown man is like buying back a piece of something I could never have, it’s not about the material it’s about the experience.”
The rapper posted a video of his epic card pack-opening spree, sharing his elation at scoring the sought-after gem in a box he dropped $23,000 on.
