Lil Pump Shows His Support for Trump at a Campaign Rally & Wears a MAGA Hat

Lil Pump doubled down on his support of the president by attending one of the commander in chief’s big rallies on Nov. 1. The rapper posted a selfie video from the event in which he smiles into the camera while wearing his red “Make America Great Again” hat.

In the Instagram Story, Pump — who is not wearing a mask while filming — swings the camera Trump’s way. (A new Stanford research paper found that these large gatherings held by the president have potentially contributed to more than 30,000 new COVID-19 cases and 700 deaths during events held between June 20 and Sept. 22.)

Donald Trump Jr. retweeted an image of Pump at the event just days after the Gucci Gang MC officially endorsed the commander in chief. “THE DAY I MET TRUMP #trump202022020,” Pump (born Gazzy Garcia) wrote alongside a photo of himself shaking hands with Trump — though he didn’t specify if the snap is real or Photoshopped. A short time later, Pump’s label shared that while they support everyone’s right to choose a president, they support the Democratic Biden/Harris ticket.

In a later-deleted follow-up video, Pump explained his decision to vote for Trump with an expletive-ridden rant slamming what he claimed would be the financial impact of Biden’s tax proposal. “All I gotta say is Trump 2020 b—-,” he said. “F— I look like paying a extra 33 is tax for Biden, b—- a– n—-. F— sleepy Joe n—- Trump 2020 b—-.”
