The age-old drama continues between Lil’ Kim and 50 Cent.

The two rappers have a love/hate relationship that dates back to 2002 and leads all the way up to now, when Lil’ Kim called out 50 Cent via Instagram on Friday (July 2) for his comments regarding her BET Awards look.

Kim performed at the awards show on Sunday as part of a Queen Latifah tribute, sporting a white hood and angular blonde bangs. A couple of days later, 50 Cent posted side-by-side photos comparing the “Crush on You” rapper to an owl.

“Who did this sh–,” he wrote in his caption. “This ain’t right. LOL”

The 46-year-old responded in her own Instagram post, where she promised her followers the owl comparison didn’t bother her “one bit.” Still, she didn’t let 50 Cent off the hook — in a scathing three sentences, Kim revealed she once rejected the “In Da Club” rapper’s attempt to date her.

“@50cent I see u still in ur feels about that dinner date u asked me on that I had to turn down,” she wrote. “Let it go u have a beautiful girlfriend, I have a loving husband. Let it go.”

In her caption, Kim also acknowledged her partner Mr. Papers, with whom she has a daughter, for coming to her defense. On 50 Cent’s Instagram post, Mr. Papers commented, “Leave my wife out the Jokes Ya heard.”

“And for those of u coming at my husband, Mr. Papers, he did real ni**a shit,” she wrote. “What a husband is suppose to do.”

This is far from the first time Kim and 50 Cent have butted heads. The two have publicly dissed each other several times, with 50 Cent poking fun at Lil’ Kim’s cosmetic surgeries in two different songs: 2002’s “Love Me” with Eminem and Obie, as well as 2005’s “Piggy Bank.” But in between their disputes, they’ve also collaborated on a couple of songs: first on “Magic Stick” in 2003 and then “Wanna Lick” in 2007. If the pattern continues, maybe their recent spat means the pair will release another track together in the future.
