Kevin Gates has admitted he wants to stop rapping about sex after his daughter’s recent bedroom confession.

In behind-the-scenes footage of his “Love Myself” music video with 2021 HipHopDX Rising Star DDG, the Baton Rouge rapper revealed his daughter told him she partakes in anilingus.

“Bruh, that shit fucked up dawg,” he said during the video shoot. “My big daughter 19, bruh. Make me want to stop rapping about sexual shit. My daughter talking about she eat ass and shit. I’m serious. I had to listen to that shit.

“I’m like, ‘What the fuck?!’ I said: ‘Was it a n-gga or a bitch?’ She said: ‘Dad…’ I said: ‘Don’t even tell me. I don’t wanna know. I don’t judge you, I love you. I ain’t here to judge you, I love you.’ I said: ‘Man, what the fuck?’”

He added: “That shit be crushing me, dude.”

Kevin Gates is no stranger to waxing poetic about sex, whether it’s in song lyrics, interviews or speaking to fans on stage. During an interview with Bootleg Kev in June, Gates admitted he would drink Beyoncé’s urine after rapping about her “pissing all on this dick.”

“To be honest — and this with all due respect — that’s one of the most beautiful women in the world,” he said at the time. “I sit in the trap with all the monsters; they say the same thing. All I did was say what everybody think.

“You’re the most beautiful woman in the world. I would drink your piss. Like, what the fuck? Come on, man. Right here in my mouth. I speak for the n-ggas that incarcerated that sit there and watch these people on TV and everything. This is what everybody thinking.”

Other sexually explicit comments include Gates claiming women with acne have the best sex and admitting he continued to have sex with his cousin even after finding out they were related.

During a recent interview with HipHopDX, however, the “Thinking with My Dick” rapper revealed he isn’t bothered about people criticizing him, especially when it comes to his openly sexual nature.

“Man, to be honest with you, I’m something to talk about,” he said. “If they’re not talking, you not doing nothing. Now, as far as if it’s negative or positive reactions, that’s just the perspective of whoever was there. I don’t care about those things. I know who I am and I wasn’t made for everybody to like. As I said, you have people that will project their insecurities onto you.”
