Kanye West’s new album WW3 has once again missed its release date, though the rapper has unveiled the controversial cover artwork, which is unsurprising given his history of provocative moves.
According to Akademiks, WW3 was expected to drop on Thursday, April 3, but no album has surfaced yet. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Kanye offered an update by posting what he claimed was the album’s cover art.
The image features two individuals dressed in Ku Klux Klan robes, with one holding flowers, standing in front of bales of hay.

The album’s release remains uncertain, as does its potential availability on streaming platforms, considering Kanye’s previous statements about possibly boycotting mainstream music services.
Earlier this week, despite recently leaking an unfinished version of his 11th solo album Bully (which featured an extended music video starring his son Saint), Kanye made the announcement of WW3. On April 2, he shared the handwritten tracklist for the album, which includes highly controversial song titles such as “Heil Hitler,” “Free Diddy,” “Virgil Let Me Down,” “Cosby,” “Nitrous,” and “Hitler Ye and Jesus.” He also shared disturbing imagery, including drawings of swastikas.
Up-and-coming rapper Dave Blunts, known for his viral success due to health-related issues and the anthem “The Cup,” is the album’s only guest artist.
WW3 also features a track titled “Bianca,” where Kanye raps about his wife leaving him due to his inflammatory social media posts. On the hook, he pleads for her return, rapping in a high-pitched voice over a soulful sample: “She’s having a panic attack and she is not liking the way that I tweeted / Until Bianca’s back, I stay up all night, I’m not going to sleep.” He also mentions how Censori allegedly tried to have him committed to a hospital, presumably a mental health facility, and raps about tracking her down using his phone.
“I really don’t know where she’s at / I’m tracking my bitch through an app / I’m tracking my bitch through the city / I guess we the new Cassie and Diddy,” he spits.
Censori has not publicly commented on the song, but the couple has been at the center of divorce rumors recently, fueled by Kanye’s controversial behavior.
