While Kanye West has not been barnstorming the country in support of his long-shot third-party presidential campaign, he has apparently been in the studio working on new tunes. Early Monday morning (Oct. 19) he blasted out a 15-second preview of what sounds like a remix featuring DaBaby.

“DABABY TURNED THIS VERSE AROUND SO QUICK ITS INSPIRATIONAL TO SEE HOW FAST WE CAN MOVE AS A PEOPLE. I HAD TO GIVE YALL AT LEAST A SNIPPET,” he wrote alongside an animated painting of a skull with long white hair and a flopped-out tongue. “Let me get ’em Ye/ They gonna hate on me [unintelligible] anyway,” DaBaby raps over the trap beat and trilling flutes. “They only call me when they have a bill to pay/ Ain’t nobody ask me how I feel today.”

Both men also shared a text exchange in which they praised each other and DaBaby promised to get his verse back to West ASAP. It looks like he came through on that promise. The snippet sounds like a remix of what has been tagged as West’s campaign theme song, “Nah Nah Nah.” DaBaby has backed West’s unconventional campaign, which so far has only gotten Yeezy’s name on the ballot in 12 states, as well as a landing him a seemingly unwanted vice presidential slot in California.
