And just like that, Jay-Z has deactivated his Instagram account.

Hov’s latest dalliance with Insta was brief, and built around promoting his latest project, the Netflix film The Harder They Fall.

The billionaire Brooklyn rapper and businessman opened an account, pushed a poster for the Western, and shared a countdown for the Western’s premiere.

Now that the film is out, Jay-Z’s social work is apparently done.

A visit to his Insta page is met with the message, “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”

It’s not the first time he opened, and promptly closed, an Insta account. Back in the summer of 2015, he reportedly launched a short-lived page with the name @hovsince96.

Prior to pulling the plug on his latest social account, Jay accumulated more than 800,000 followers in just a matter of hours.

Keeping fans updated on his every move might just be a bridge too far for a man who, according to Forbes, boasts a net worth “conservatively totals $1 billion, making him one of only a handful of entertainers to become a billionaire — and the first hip-hop artist to do so.”

Outside of music, his investments include a cannabis brand, alcohol, clothing, and a stake in the ride-sharing service Uber.
