Saturday Night Live is making Jack Harlow’s dreams come true.

On Saturday (Feb. 27), the long-running NBC sketch comedy show announced that the 22-year-old Louisville rapper will make his SNL musical guest debut on March 27.

Harlow shared his appreciation for his upcoming Studio 8H appearance in a heartfelt tweet following the announcement.

“I grew up watching SNL with my family every weekend,” the “Whats Poppin” artist wrote. “I vividly remember seeing Kanye perform Love Lockdown and Heartless in 2008. Thank you for making this happen. Another dream come true.”

SNL alum Maya Rudolph will host the forthcoming episode. The actress and comedian, who was a cast member on the late-night show from 2000-2007, has returned to the program numerous times in recent years, including this past season to portray Vice President Kamala Harris.

Harlow, meanwhile, has kept active in recent months, performing during livestreams surrounding the Super Bowl, get-out-the-vote efforts, New Year’s Eve and awards shows.

Last summer, he scored his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Songs airplay chart with “Whats Poppin,” featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne. The song — which is nominated for best rap performance at the this year’s Grammys — also reached the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Harlow dropped his major-label debut, That’s What They All Say, in December. On the album, the rapper celebrates his breakthrough and adjusts to the spotlight, nodding back to his hometown while also curious to explore what’s outside of it.

“There are some times when it’s your duty to spit, but I already showed you that I can rap,” he told Billboard last March. “So guess what else I’m going to show you? I can make some ear candy that you’re going to want to hear 100 times. I can’t let anybody condition the type of music I’m making — I know what I’m going to do in the long run.”
