IGGY AZALEA RESPONDS TO BODY SHAMING CRITICS AFTER VIRAL TWERK VIDEO

Iggy Azalea performed at the 2022 Long Beach Pride festival earlier in July and she gave the crowd something extra to look at when her dancers incorporated twerking into their routine for 2013’s “Work.”

The booty-shaking clip went viral on Twitter and while perusing the internet, the “Fancy” rapper noticed a ton of negative body shaming comments and she decided to fire back at the critics on July 22.

“It’s a good thing I genuinely feel happy about myself & my body cause y’all stay in every comment section talking the most shit about me & it’s very mean spirited & ugly. Ps. your man 100% wants to fuck me,” she wrote matter-of-factly.

The 32-year-old made sure to also clear up that her clap-back wasn’t for the original viral tweet, which seemed to be complimenting her, but for the comment sections on Instagram and Twitter replies.

“This is! I’m talking about the comment section,” she explained.

Don’t expect the twerking to stop for Iggy Azalea, who continues to perform as the opening act on Pitbull’s Can’t Stop Us Now tour. The trek will invade North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York this week to close out July.

Iggy is yet to release new music in 2022 but she was the subject of dating rumors earlier this summer when she was spotted on a Miami dinner date with Tory Lanez.
