Eminem has promised his fans he and comedian Chris D’Elia will one day face off in the ultimate rap battle. Slim Shady fired off the announcement via Twitter on Tuesday (May 7).
“Me and @chrisdelia are gonna battle one day,” he wrote. “#Homicide @Logic301.”
Em is still heavily promoting his new “Homicide” single with Logic, which dropped last Friday (May 7). The track ends with D’Elia’s impersonation of Shady’s 2017 BET Awards freestyle cypher that D’Elia reportedly donated to Em and Logic.

D’Elia, in fact, was simply honored to be included on the song.
“I was like, ‘Nah, don’t do that [cut a check], just give it to ’em, it’s fine,” D’Elia said. “I don’t care, man. It’s a huge honor. I have money coming in other ways. I don’t need that. I’m not trying to make money in the rap world. It’s first an honor. I did my silly impression in my garage. I say, ‘have at it.’ I make money doing what I do.”
In another Instagram post, D’Elia happily accepted Em’s request. He says he was “born ready.”
“Slim Shady himself called me out?!” he wrote. “I accept! Swipe left. @eminem @logic #eminem #logic #slimshady #homicide.”
