Although Drake is thousands of miles away in Australia, operating on a completely different time zone, it didn’t stop him from catching Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show.

A video recently surfaced online showing the 6 God’s team watching Kendrick’s performance on a large TV, likely in a hotel lobby.

In the short clip, OVO Chubbs and Canadian rapper Preme can be seen paying attention to the performance, which is ironic given that Kendrick used the Super Bowl stage to take more jabs at Drake.

So far, Drake has not publicly reacted to Kendrick’s halftime show. However, he did make another bold statement during his concert in Melbourne on February 10, despite the widely perceived loss to the GNX MC.

While performing “Knife Talk,” he rapped: “Beef is live, spoiler alert: I never died,” instead of the original lyrics: “Beef is live, spoiler alert, this n-gga dies.”

During his high-energy performance at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9, Kendrick Lamar took multiple shots at his ongoing feud with Drake, which escalated last summer.

About halfway through his set, the Compton rapper mocked his rival during a back-and-forth with his female backup dancers, saying, “I want to perform their favorite song… but you know they love to sue,” a clear reference to Drake’s defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group over “Not Like Us.”

When performing the song itself—just before the end of his set—Kendrick chose to censor the “certified pedophile” line, but still smirked at the camera while rapping: “Say Drake, I hear you like ’em young / You better not ever go to cell block one / To any [bitch] that talk to him and they in love / Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him.”
