Drake has released three fresh tracks through the newest installment of his Iceman stream.
As part of promoting his album of the same title, Drake has been gradually teasing fans with these streams, using them to introduce new singles.
During the third stream, Drake revealed his latest single “That’s How I Feel” alongside a preview of a collaboration with Yeat.
The 6 God also premiered a revamped version of “Somebody Loves Me” featuring Cash Cobain.
Additionally, the stream included Drizzy performing a freestyle called “They Wanna See Me Go”.
Drake has yet to announce an official release date for Iceman but recently shared that WWE star Rhea Ripley was his inspiration.
In a conversation with Bobbi Althoff on her Not This Again podcast, Drake confessed that the former women’s champion served as his muse.
He stated: “She’s a wrestler, she’s like my muse.”
Drake also seemed to acknowledge that the feeling wasn’t mutual: “But she’s… I’m the opposite of everything that she likes.”
He didn’t specify exactly what qualities of Ripley he admires.
Ripley, married to fellow wrestler Buddy Matthews, has not responded to Drake’s remarks.
Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel claimed to have insider knowledge about the album’s release timeline.
He said: “Soon, probably, around the end of October, maybe early November. Birthday coming up. Coming back to Texas after that, I’m going to take him to a game this year. He’s going to Aggie Land.”
Reactions to Drake’s singles from Iceman have been mixed.
The lead single “What Did I Miss?” peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 but quickly dropped.
The second single “Which One” performed even worse, failing to make any impact on the charts.
The collaboration with British rapper Central Cee hasn’t stirred much excitement either, debuting at number 23 and missing the top 20.
Initially, the track was expected to enter the top 10, but streaming numbers declined, resulting in Drake’s lowest-charting official single since 2017’s “Signs”.
