After dropping the official video last week, Drake posted up the basketball-themed lyric video for his single “Laugh Now, Cry Later” on Wednesday (Aug. 19).
In keeping with the roundball storyline of the original clip — which found Drizzy balling at Nike’s World HQ in Oregon with Kevin Durant — the lyric video unfolds like a photo shoot contact sheet, full of pics of Drake and Lil Durk palming basketballs and dribbling as the lyrics pop up on the screen with un unseen hand circling the key lines in red.
The lyric vid compliments the official clip, which also sees the two rappers ripping through a series of sports, including jet skiing, football and swimming, a well as posing for photos holding basketballs, with Drake rocking Lebron James’ iconic white suit from his 2003 draft night.
