Rapper Mo3 has been shot and killed in Dallas, Texas, Billboard can confirm. He was 28 years old.
According to TMZ, he was driving northbound on I-35, when a man got out of his car and approached the rapper’s. Mo3 allegedly got out of his car ran, but the gunman fired multiple times and hit the rapper in the back of the head.
Mo3 has been cranking out albums since 2016, but perhaps was best known for his 2019 Boosie Badazz collaboration, “Errybody (Remix).” The duo released a full-length collab album in February.
The Dallas-bred rapper’s label EMPIRE paid tribute to the late star on its Instagram page, sharing a photo of Mo3 with a dove emoji. See it here.
