Apparently, NFL teams are now making elaborate schedule release videos, so of course Post Malone is the shining star at the center of the one dropped by his beloved Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday (May 12) to announced their 2021 season. The rapper, dubbed “The Postman,” in the two-and-a-half minute teaser, shows up in a Cowboys-themed postal uniform as he carries the all-important paperwork to the team’s headquarters.
Unfortunately, the front door is locked and Posty is forced to yell “Jerry! Jerry!” over and over until someone in the security office sends a message to the big man. “Boss, The Postman’s here,” he says before pulling a lever that opens the door. After walking past the team’s five Super Bowl trophies — in his signature Crocs with socks, of course — Malone enters Jones’ inner sanctum and greets his old pal.
“I brought the 2021 schedule for ya,” Malone says while handing over the vital documents. “Oh, I’ve been waiting such a long time,” Jones says before inviting his guest to celebrate, which causes Posty’s head to explode in a psychedelic swirl of excitement.
Slipping on his spangled, custom Cowboys cowboy hat, Malone steps up to a beer pong table to face off in a furious game with Jones, with the owners handful of NFL championship rings at stake. By the end, it’s Malone gifting Jones with his custom Cowboys chain as the two hit the balcony and make it rain mini-schedules on team stars quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott.
