DaBaby shows he’s the ultimate family man in the new music video for “More Money More Problems.”
“More Money More Problems,” which interpolates The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1997 hit “Mo Money Mo Problems,” is the closing track from DaBaby’s seven-song EP My Brother’s Keeper (Long Live G), which he released on Friday. The set honors his late older brother Glenn Johnson, who died earlier this month after sustaining a gunshot wound, police confirmed to Billboard at the time. “In loving memory of Glenn Allen Johnson,” reads the YouTube video description.
In the Gemini Vision-directed video, fans continue seeing a softer side to the North Carolina rapper, who plays with his daughter at home and reflects how the trappings of wealth and fame don’t dissolve real-life issues. “Yeah, man, and you know, this sh– come with a lot/ I’m acceptin’ it all with open arms/ See, me, when I prayed for this sh–/ You know, I told God I was willin’ to accept whatever came with it,” he speaks in the outro.
DaBaby’s daughter also made a cute cameo in his and Roddy Ricch’s “Rockstar” video, where she runs across a grass field into her father’s arms.
