DaBaby tore through a medley of his songs “Practice,” “Blind” and “Rockstar” at the 2020 MTV European Music Awards on Sunday (Nov. 8), shining a light on police brutality as he took his performance from a cop car to the courtroom.
The rapper kicked off his performance with “Rockstar,” portraying a man who gets arrested by white police officers in an aggressive manner and shoved into the back of a cop car — while onlookers film the entire thing on their phones.
The performance then transitioned into “Blind,” while DaBaby appeared in court, and finally, he gave a press conference outside of the building for “Practice.”
The rapper was also nominated for best song, best collaboration, best new and best hip hop tonight.
