Childish Gambino is returning to music in full force in 2024 with both new material and a massive international tour.

Shortly after releasing his new album Atavista, the rapper/actor announced on Monday (May 13) The New World Tour.

The 58-date jaunt will take Donald Glover across North America, Europe and Oceania between August 2024 and February 2025. He’ll be joined on the road by fellow genre-bending stars Willow Smith and Amaarae.

The New World Tour kicks off on August 11 in Oklahoma City before venturing to cities such as Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.

The North American leg concludes on October 3 in Chicago. The European excursion then runs from October 31 until December 5, with stops in Milan, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, London and other overseas hotspots.

Finally, Gambino and co. will jet to New Zealand and Australia early next year for five dates, bringing the globe-trekking tour to a close.

Tickets go on sale Friday (May 17) via the tour’s official website.

Fans can expect Childish Gambino to perform Atavista — and possibly another new album — on the tour following its surprise release this week.

This new iteration features official song titles, a reworked tracklist and several updated songs.

There are also new features from Young Nudy and Summer Walker, in addition to previous collaborations with 21 Savage, Ariana Grande, Ink and Kadhja Bonet.

Atavista arrived alongside a theatrical music video for the Nudy-assisted “Little Foot Big Foot,” which boasts a cameo from Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson and was directed by Hiro Murai, who has previously worked with Gambino on Atlanta and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

When announcing these new releases, Glover confirmed that he has a second album dropping later this year.

“ATAVISTA is streaming now. this album is the finished version of ‘3.15.20’, the album i put out 4 years ago. there’s a special vinyl coming soon w/ visuals for each song,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“the all new childish gambino album comes out in the summer.”

The Grammy-winner previously revealed that his next album is called Bando Stone in the New World and will serve as the soundtrack to a film of the same name he is working on.

He also recently debuted unreleased collaborations with Kanye West and Kid Cudi on his Instagram Live show GILGA Radio, although it’s unclear if these will be included on the project.
