Casanova’s sentencing for his alleged involvement in the sweeping RICO case against the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation has reportedly been delayed once again.
According to AllHipHop, the Brooklyn rapper — born Caswell Senior — will now be sentenced on June 27. He faces up to 60 years behind bars for his array of alleged gang-related crimes.
Casanova has been behind bars since December 2020 when he was named as one of 18 alleged Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang members indicted in a sprawling drug conspiracy case.
Despite maintaining his innocence, Cas pleaded guilty to two counts in May 2022: racketeering conspiracy and narcotics conspiracy.
According to a report from Rolling Stone at the time, the Roc Nation artist was moved to accept the prosecutors’ offer after someone essentially snitched on him.
In his guilty plea, Casanova admitted to trafficking at least 100 kilograms of marijuana and being a signal caller for the gang.
The 36-year-old also copped to his involvement in a 2018 NYC robbery that left a woman named Niya Rucker badly injured, as well as a July 2020 Florida shooting following a gambling dispute.
Even while he’s been behind bars for over two years since turning himself in to the FBI in late 2020, Casanova has still been able to pull strings and take care of his loved ones.
Cas made Valentine’s Day a special one for the mother of his child in February by gifting Swaggy Jazzy a brand new Mercedes-Benz and her own business.
“Being happy doesn’t mean everything’s perfect, it means you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections,” the rapper wrote on Instagram next to a video of the gifts. “I hope that dont go over your head!…. New car, New Business @mint_mobile_auto_spa. Happy Valentine’s Day baby @swaggy.jazzy_2x.”
Along with a new Benz filled with flowers, chocolate and balloons, the Brooklyn native gave Jazzy two branded trucks for her new mobile car wash business, Mint Mobile Auto Spa.
