СHICAGO, IL – R. Kelly was arrested on 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse on Friday (February 22) after turning himself in to Chicago police. At the center of the investigation is a sex tape allegedly showing the disgraced R&B star engaging in lewd acts with a 14-year-old girl.
Attorney Michael Avenatti, who is representing at least one of Kelly’s four alleged victims, shared three screenshots from the tape to his Twitter account shortly after Kellz was indicted on Friday afternoon.
“I will be addressing these photos during the press conference scheduled to begin shortly after 5pm ET (4pm CT),” Avenatti captioned the tweet.

According to FOX59, Kelly is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday (February 23) for a bail hearing. Kellz’s attorney Steve Greenberg described his client as an innocent man and believes Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx succumbed to public pressure.
“I think all the women are lying,” Greenberg said. “Mr. Kelly is strong, he’s got a lot of support and he’s going to be vindicated on all these charges — one by one if it has to be.”
