Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote is teaming up with the Georgia Project and Live Nation Urban to host the drive-in, get-out-the-vote concert “Celebrate Georgia!” featuring Rick Ross, Jack Harlow, DJ Drama and more.
The Jan. 3rd drive-in concert aims to raise awareness ahead of the crucial Jan. 5 run-off election in Georgia, which will determine which party controls the Senate during the upcoming Biden administration. The event will take place from 5:00-7:30 p.m. ET at the Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta.
Among the other acts slated to perform are Monica and Pastor Troy, with Kenny Burns and Su Solo hosting the event. Also slated to make appearances are When We All Vote co-chairs Michelle Obama, Janelle Monáe, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kerry Washington and Chris Paul, and Ambassadors Jeezy, Common, Jidenna, Darren Criss, Sophia Bush, Tommy Dorfman and more.
In addition to celebrating the record more than 1.3 million people who’ve already cast ballots in the run-off election, the concert will encourage those who haven’t voted yet to get to the polls on Jan. 5. Click here for more information about tickets for the show.
