Kanye West discussed his ongoing presidential run on the latest episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast over the weekend, and the rapper used highlights from the conversation in his new campaign advertisement.
The nearly two-minute clip, which dropped on Wednesday (Oct. 28), finds ‘Ye telling Rogan that “we need healing internationally, not just selfishly for America–‘America’s number one.'”
“I will lead with love, dignity, the responsibility to our country, the coverage of our families, of our soldiers and in full service to God and to the American people,” he continued, as clips of the star with his family and working on various projects weave throughout the vignette. “This isn’t something that you just wing. This all is gonna take moments of listening, moments of understanding. There couldn’t be a better time to put a visionary in the captain’s chair.”
“I believe that my calling is to be the leader of the free world. It’s something God put on my heart back in 2015,” he continued, before concluding, “America deserves—the world deserves a leader that they can 100% trust.”

West is on the ballot in 12 states, including Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah and Vermont. West made it clear that he is not AIP candidate Rocky LaFuente’s vice presidential running mate, as some California sample ballots indicated, and that his name appeared “without my knowledge.”
